About Cannabis Engineering + Compliance

Cannabis Engineering Services

CE+C provides mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection engineering for commercial cannabis producers with indoor grow facilities and product processing plants such as extraction labs. As a subsidiary of an engineering firm founded in 1985, CE+C is one of the most established teams in the cannabis industry. We started out working with boutique food production, wineries, distilleries, and brew houses, where we designed facilities that required tight control of temperature and humidity, coupled with exacting life-safety measures. We bring that knowledge to cannabis facility engineering , where we have been designing grow and processing facilities since 2016, making us some of the most experienced engineers in the business.

When you work with CE+C, quality is baked in. You get a team of experienced designers and engineers who love their work. Principal Ben Roush leads the team and is personally involved in every project. Ben holds licenses as PE (mechanical) and FPE (fire protection) and credentials in sustainable design, energy management, and commissioning. He has so many important letters after his name that the joke is that he’s “gotta catch em all.” He is a sought-after industry speaker and sits on the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) 420 committee that develops code for cannabis facilities. He is also a self-described code nerd who thoroughly enjoys reading building, energy, and fire protection codes. He will bring his extensive, unique set of knowledge, experience, and innovation to make sure you have a facility that gives you peak performance and high yields.
